Inspector Nick Welty began his career in the home inspection business in 2000 after working in construction trades for many years. Over the years Nick has gained vast experience in every aspect of the home inspection industry. In 2004, he worked for a multi-inspector firm and taught at many real estate offices for state-approved continuing education classes, ranging from legal issues to managing client expectations.

After 2004, Nick dove headfirst into his passion for running his own home inspection business. Nick’s experience has enabled him to provide top client care, as he has completed over 10,000 inspections. With ongoing continued education, Nick continues to grow his base of knowledge and strives to share this knowledge with each and every client.

Nick is a proud home inspector, but even more so, a proud father. When Nick is not helping his clients and their families by inspecting homes, he is spending time with his wife and 3 children.

Chelsea earned her place on the InspectorNick.com team through technical knowledge, extensive training, critical thinking, and demonstrated inspection ability. She brings a sharp eye, strong critical thinking skills, and hands-on residential construction experience to every inspection. Chelsea is a Certified Professional Inspector through InterNACHI and completed InspectorNick.com’s extensive hands-on training program in residential construction, mechanical systems, and building science.

Before becoming a home inspector, Chelsea owned and operated a home-services company focused on residential renovation, design, and construction. She also previously worked as a Realtor in Colorado, giving her firsthand knowledge of both how homes are built and maintained and the concerns buyers face when making a major investment. Her diverse background in construction, renovation, and real estate gives Chelsea a practical, well-rounded approach to inspections. She looks beyond isolated deficiencies to understand why a condition exists, how the home’s systems interact, and what that condition may mean.

Chelsea is direct and straightforward in her communication, providing clients with clear, accurate information without unnecessary alarm or confusion.
