Should I Have a Pool Inspection
A swimming pool can be a great asset and source of many hours of family fun. If your current or future Kansas City home has a swimming pool, it is very important to have your pool inspected thoroughly along with the rest of your home. From a safety perspective, as well as for operational purposes, our certified pool specialist should be hired to inspect all components of the swimming pool and decking.
Certified Pool Inspections
The first step we take when performing a pool inspection in Kansas City is a visual assessment of the structure of the pool. This includes examining the tile, grout, interior finish, deck interface, caulking, expansion joints and coping. Once we have visually inspected your pool, we will test the operation of all the mechanical equipment.
Pumps, motors, filters, heaters, piping, valves, chemical feeders, gauges and automatic cleaning equipment, time clocks, and switches will all be inspected to determine proper working order.
In addition, all deck equipment including skimmers, ladders, handrails, drain covers, lights, safety ropes, diving boards and waterslides will all be inspected for safety and correct operation. If the pool is open for the season, our Pool Inspector will complete a water chemistry test as well.
Once the inspection is completed, a written report will be generated and accompanied with pictures of the components of the pool that we inspected. This report will be emailed along with the home inspection.
