Termites pose a serious threat to the structural integrity of a home.

Do not close on a home or move in without knowing if the home has a current or previous termite infestation. The InspectorNick.com team of inspectors are licensed in both Kansas and Missouri to visually inspect your home for any signs of current or past termite infestation.

Radon Testing

Testing is the only way to know the home's radon levels.

Invisible & Dangerous

Radon is odorless, tasteless, and invisible to the human eye. The EPA has determined radon to be a leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. Most homes have some level of radon in and around them, but a test is needed to determine if you are at risk for high levels in your prospective home.

High Levels of Radon

If a radon test is part of your home inspection process, we will make every attempt to set the radon testing machine at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled inspection. We will provide a report within 24 hours of retrieving the machine, and then you will know if the home is exposed to high levels of radon. In the event radon levels are high, we can recommend a professional who can install a mitigation system to reduce levels and get them within safe guidelines.

We are here for you to make the process easy.

Our team of inspectors is here to help. Transparency, guidance, and education – those are our goals during your single-family home inspection in Kansas City. We will help ensure the home you are purchasing is safe for your family, and will not cause major or expensive problems in the future.
